What to Expect

 Where Would I Fit In?

With adult Bible classes for married couples, single adults, newlyweds, college students, etc., Sunday school classes for beginners to seniors in high school, there’s a place for you in Sunday School at Temple.

Sunday Bible Classes – 9:45 A.M.

During this time, adults can choose from a number of adult Bible classes to attend. These classes vary in size and focus.

Classes are also available for children as young as four years old up to seniors in high school. These classes give them an opportunity to grow spiritually and learn vital biblical truths at a young age. Our bible Study classes begin at 9:45 a.m. and conclude at 10:30 a.m. Get there early and enjoy some coffee from our Common Grounds Coffee Corner.

Child Care

We also provide first-class nurseries and childcare for your newborn or baby, where they will be kept safe and well supervised. Our nursery staff is well-trained and experienced; they are good at what they do. The nursery is available every Sunday and Wednesday. We strive to keep all people at the church safe, but the safety of our children is of upmost importance. Anyone working with our children are required to have a background check. We also have a number of cameras around our facility that are constantly being monitored  by a member of the security team. We have policies in place to ensure that your child will be in a clean safe environment when they are on our campus. Click here to view a copy of our Children/Youth Protection Policy

Where Do I Park?

Ample parking is available for all first time guests and members at Temple. We also have parking spots designated for the elderly and handicapped. We also have staff security personnel that keep watch over each of our parking lots before, during, and after each of our services.

What Should I Wear?

There is no strict dress code to attend our public services.

Sunday Morning and Evening Services – 10:45 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.

Every Sunday morning and Sunday evening, the main Sunday preaching service is held in the Main Auditorium with Dr. Scott Young. As you walk in, a friendly usher will greet you and be available for you to help you find a seat and answer any questions you may have.

We believe in having a church service with good, uplifting hymns and spiritual songs that will stir and inspire you, prayer, and practical preaching of the Word of God from our pastor.

Singing and Special Music

Every service gives you an opportunity to join us in singing hymns and spiritual songs. You’ll also enjoy the music from the Choir in each of our Sunday services.

Hope in the Word

We consider the preaching of the Word of God to be the centerpiece of the service. 1 Corinthians 1:21 reads, “…it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” Each service, Pastor Scott will bring an expositional message from the Word of God.

How we Give

We offer three ways for you to be able to give. You can give online using our website by clicking here. You can also give utilizing the Tith.ly app by downloading it from the google play store or from the Apple store. The third way you can give is by giving in person at one of our physical services.

Invitation

At the end of the message, Pastor Scott will extend an invitation. This is a time for many to respond and make life-changing decisions. The decision may be to trust Christ as personal Savior or to grow deeper in your commitment to follow Christ. Whatever your decision may be, the altar is always open at Temple. For others, this is a time to bring needs to the Lord in prayer.

Wednesday Evening of Prayer – 6:30 P.M.

Wednesday nights are special at Temple. In our Main Auditorium, Pastor Scott Young leads the “Evening of Prayer” service. This is a special time of prayer at TBC. Each week, we spend time together in corporate prayer, intercessory prayer, and testimony of answered prayer. Prayer is the focus of this service. You don’t want to miss this most special time together with the family of God.
