STATION 516 exists solely to further the gospel of Jesus Christ. Its focal point, and belief, is that the greatest impact for Christ begins with children.
Temple Baptist’s STATION 516 program begins each Wednesday night at 6:15 pm and runs until 7:30 pm and is run with Answers in Genesis principles and purposes in mind. We have some of the finest volunteers operating this ministry. There are weekly opportunities for your children to be involved in this hands-on, fun program, as well as regularly scheduled activities to keep clubbers connected to one another, as well as engaged & encouraged by our leaders!
The clubs are divided by age groups and each take part in three “times” each night: Large Group Time, Small Group , and Music Time.
During Large Group Time, clubbers learn about the Bible through devotionals, missionary stories, and object lessons. This time is engaging and impactive and an appropriate length for each age group.
Small Group is a time for clubbers to practice and recite Scripture verses memorized during the previous week, planting the seeds of Scripture in children’s minds and hearts. As an added incentive, clubbers receive awards for reaching milestones in their handbooks during the year.
Music Time engages clubbers in enjoyable songs that glorify God and allow the children to have their own worship experience. Our volunteers work hard to be earnestly involved in the lives of these young children during both Bible times and fun times.
The age groups are broken up as follows:
PUGGLES: 2/3 year old

In Puggles, children are welcomed each week with play time, songs and simple crafts and activities. Leaders present age-appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, finger puppet plays and more. Lessons teach and reinforce four basic biblical precepts:
- God Made Everything
- God Saw That It Was Good
- God is Love
- Give Thanks
LITTLE LIGHTS: 4/5 year old
Director : Regina Shelton
Children in this age group will learn lessons that will be on their level. They will walk away with a better understanding of who God is and how he created us all in a unique way.
LIGHT SEEKERS: K/1st/2nd grades
Director: Chantelle Fitzwater
PATH FINDERS: 3rd – 5th grades
